I started this because I developed an unhealthy obsession with motorcycles and I want to make my life about them. I want to help other people out there who are like me and love life on two wheels.
There's such a bad connotation in this country (and worldwide) that motorcycles are evil and should be avoided at all costs — which is sadly what I believed for my whole life. But one morning in December 2024 I got a sudden and unexplainable urge to own a motorcycle. I had ZERO interest in them before. I thought they were cool, but too dangerous, and I wasn't interested. But when that urge hit me — it hit me hard.
Fast forward to February 2025. At the beginning of the month I decided, "let's go and get my learner's licence." At least I'd have it, and if I decided to one day get a motorbike, at least I'd have my learner's. Well, by the end of February (the 28th, to be exact), my FIRST motorbike was delivered to my house. A small, humble Suzuki Gixxer 250. Not the fanciest or fastest out there. But MINE.

Straight to YouTube I went. "How To Ride a Motorcycle." Not the smartest way to do it, but it was the way I went about it. Practicing up and down my street. Trying to "find the friction zone." Getting the bike creeping forward and finally getting my feet up. What an accomplishment!
I didn't tell anyone (besides my wife) that I did this. Especially didn't tell my mom. As a 30-year-old who is married, I was still too scared to tell my mother about my "stupid life choices." Most of my family thought it was a bad idea (and probably still do). But I can say, after only a year and a half of riding, I am super happy with the choice I made — and hopefully I can get many more "smiles per miles."
So, back to what this is. I have a few people I ride with, all sorts of bikes. Little bikes (like mine), litre bikes, big ADV bikes. There's such a cool community around motorcycles, and I was hoping to bring that together more.
Help people find other riders who own similar bikes. Similar riding styles. People in your area. And those (like myself) who don't work full time and want to find people to ride with during the week!
The idea is to plan a route — for yourself, or with a buddy or two. Set up a meeting point as well as stops along the way. Whether that's lunch or a sneaky photoshoot "for the gram." Just a space where the community can get together, meet new people, plan epic group rides, and enjoy the sport.
My hope is that we can build a platform where we ride as one. Maybe there's someone who's on the fence about getting on two wheels, and when they see your group riding past, it convinces them. The more people we have on bikes, the fewer are riding in cages — the safer it is for all of us!

Ride safe and ride smart!
